Few MLB franchises have experienced the sustained success of late that the Atlanta Braves have, with a World Series championship and six playoff berths to their credit since 2018, including last year’s 104-win team.
This season, the Braves enter Thursday’s Opening Day contest against the Philadelphia Phillies with meteoric expectations, with ESPN BET listing Atlanta as No. 2 on their World Series odds board at +550 and on their NL board at +260.
That sustained on-field success lends itself to an awful lot of gameday visitors, with the Braves pulling in the fifth highest attendance per game average in 2023, at 39,401, ranking just behind No. 4 St. Louis (40,013).
Using the Atlanta Braves’ 2024 Promotions & Events Schedule, BetGeorgia - your home for Georgia sports betting news - surveyed Braves’ fans on Reddit to see what their favorite themed nights were. Then, we ranked the top 5 promotions according to votes.

Which Promos Are Braves Fans Excited For?
The top promos for the Braves in 2024, according to the responses that we’ve seen from the team’s fans, is Atlanta’s Star Wars Night celebration on May 14, ahead of the team’s 7:20 p.m. game against the Chicago Cubs.
That movie-themed promo, which includes a Braves Star Wars clone trooper bobblehead giveaway, received 45% of all votes, beating out Military Appreciation Day (25%), College/University Games (16.5%), Alumni Sunday (10%) and Weather Education Day (3.5%).
Military Appreciation Day is on May 18, when the Braves host the San Diego Padres at 7:15 p.m., with fans receiving a team military jersey shirt, while there are 10 different university promos during the 2024 season, ranging from in-state schools like Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State to neighboring states like Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Clemson and South Carolina.
Alumni Sunday this season is on Sept. 29, with former Braves infielder Rafael Furcal signing autographs for fans, while the first 3,000 kids in attendance ahead of Atlanta’s 3:20 p.m. contest against the Kansas City Royals get a 20-ounce aluminum water bottle with their game ticket.
Finally, Weather Education Day is on April 11, with a pregame weather presentation by local TV station WSB, as the Braves take on the New York Mets at 12:20 p.m. in a Thursday matinee.
