Top 10 Most Haunted Georgia Cities

With a week to go until the spookiest day of the calendar year, it’s worth wondering where in the Peach State one can find some ghouls and goblins of their own, which they can do in a handful of cities across the region. Thanks to Georgia’s ties to the country’s armed services and the many wars fought across America over the years, the state has an extra strong tie to paranormal activity surrounding its largest military base, that being Army strong hold Fort Moore (formerly known as Fort Benning).

The base, which changed names in 2020 after protests surrounding the naming of bases after Confederate generals, has reported 68 ghost sightings in the base’s 115-year history, which has back to its opening in 1918.

Halloween is nearly here. In honor of spooky season, BetGeorgia.com took a beat from Georgia sports betting to see what the top 10 most haunted Georgia cities are. Using GhostsofAmerica.com, we ranked the cities based on number of sightings.
