It’s been a decade since the Georgia Bulldogs last tasted the glory that is March Madness, with the SEC stalwarts looking to make it back on the right side of the bubble for the first time since 2015 in Michael White’s third season in Athens, with the school sitting at 18-11 overall and 6-10 in SEC play this season.
For now, BetGeorgia.com compiled some odds on whether UGA will make it back into the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in 2025, with our latest batch of figures showing the Bulldogs as a slight favorite to make the cut across Georgia sports betting, despite four straight losses.
Percentage Chance | Odds | |
Yes | 97.7% | -4250 |
No | 2.3% | +4250 |

In our opinion, the answer is almost a certain yes. That’s because we are giving UGA -4250 (or a 57.4% chance) of making the field of 68 come March.
Much of that belief stems from the fact that Georgia bolstered their tournament résumé with a win over No. 2 Florida.= last week. The Bulldogs desperately needed that one, as they'd dropped 4 straight with March looming.
UGA then took care of Texas on March 1, with just South Carolina on March 4 and Vanderbilt on March 8 looming before the conference tournament.
Regardless of what the future brings, we’re confident that the Bulldogs have done enough to make the field of 68 for the first time in 10 years, with UGA holding solid odds of making the cut in 2025 as SEC play reaches its fever pitch on the hardwoods of the Southeast.
