Now that the regular season has wrapped up, it’s officially time for college football’s silly season to unfold, with countless FBS players entering the NCAA transfer portal to see if they can improve their NFL stock in the new year.
One such skill position player that’s on the move is Eric Singleton Jr., who has officially left Georgia Tech after two years with the Yellow Jackets, with the 5’11 receiver out of Douglasville hauling in 56 catches for 754 yards and three scores this season.
Through two seasons at GT, Singleton had 1,468 yards and nine scores, asserting himself as one of the best pass catchers in the ACC, which means that the three-star recruit in the class of 2023 can go wherever he wishes in the weeks ahead. A decision of interest to all college football fans, especially those patiently waiting for Georgia sprots betting.
Singleton Jr. has entered the transfer portal and is expected to visit a few colleges this week. At BetGeorgia.com, we developed exclusive odds to see where the Georgia-native will end up after his sophomore year.
School | Odds | Percentage Chance |
Auburn Tigers | +300 | 25.0% |
Ole Miss Rebels | +350 | 22.2% |
Texas Longhorns | +450 | 18.2% |
Miami Hurricanes | +500 | 16.7% |

Sports betting is not yet legal in Georgia, but our site is monitoring what happens in the state and will let you know when sportsbooks like DraftKings and BetMGM become available.
Right now, we have Singleton joining the SEC, with Hugh Freeze's Auburn Tigers being our top landing spot for the rising junior, at +300, while fellow SEC schools Ole Miss (+350) and Texas (+450) and are also on the board right now.
Two years ago, Singleton picked Georgia Tech over Auburn, Kansas State, Minnesota and Michigan State, though Freeze would likely love to see him land on The Plains this time around.
For now, what we know is that 247Sports has Singleton listed as a four-star transfer, listing him as the third best wide receiver in this year’s class of transfer portal occupants and as the sixth best player across all position groups.
Until we’re proven wrong, we’re going with Freeze to seal the deal in the coming weeks, as the Tigers look to add another dynamic skill position player for a hopeful run to the CFP next season.
